Wellington

Street MagicA Suzuki Street Magic on the streets of Wellington.  Having written about the Street Magic in Monkey Business, it was interesting to see this example which is much more like the Japanese home market specification than the Magics in the UK.

Hokitika

Honda Little CubOne of three machines in a garage in Hokitika.  Sorry about the glare but this was on a Sunday and the garage was shut, so we had to be content with taking pictures through the window.

The sales card reads: "Honda Little Cub 50cc Stepthru, 3250ks  Ride on a car license, Even a learners license  No warrant of fitness required   Good for work, good for the farm, good for school, Just good.   Registered and ready to go   $3595.00".

Yamaha YB50"Yamaha YB50 50cc, CDI Injection 4 Speed with a clutch   $2800.00   Ride on a car license  No warrant of fitness  Just imagine the uses for this bike, be the star at moped rallies.  On road costs not included".

Like the Honda Cub, this YB50 has a single seat with a rear rack, a common arrangement on machines in New Zealand.

Honda Super Cub"Honda Super Cub  50cc 4 Speed step thru  Heated Grips and extra light for dark nights plus basket.   3570ks   Ride on a car license  No warrant of fitness  For school, farm, work, shopping, you choose.   $3050.00   Plus on road costs".

Like the other two, this is in a single seat plus rear rack style.

Queenstown

And that's all ... until we go to World's End.
