A chilly but sunny morning greeted us for this year’s Duloe Daffodil Dash. 28 riders signed-on, although attendance must have been over 40. Joining us were friends from the East Northants Classic Bike Club on their bikes, ranging from Suzuki ‘kettles’ to ES2 Nortons. All set off OK at about 11am but seemed to, as usual, ‘go their own way’ to arrive at the Yeldon pub stop. Bev on his untrustworthy Honda ‘Expire’, seemed to have more whiskers on its spark plug than on his chin! But it arrived under its own steam at Yeldon. The main topic of conversation was, ‘which way did you go?’ or ‘where have you been’! (Map reading courses available on line.) The return journey was problem free so Alex had no takers for his backup trailer. Tea ,cakes, jumble, and good company made for a good day out as riders departed.
Thanks to everyone who came along, and for help from Chris, Alex, Matt, Owen, Lyn, and Mal in running the event. Hope to see you all at the next run.
Regards,
Ralph.
