This 1956 DKW is an
original from Ingolstad, ie: not the later Zweirad Union
(DKW, Vicoria, Express) one.
The (Stokvis) Puchs with high handlebars are
typical of Dutch Puchs. An MS, MV - or VS -
‘frogface’ - in Holland is not a Puch unless such
high handlebars are fitted.
The ruins are the ‘Brederode’
fortress. This has been in ruins for hundreds of years
(destroyed by the Spaniards in 1573).

This ‘DKW’
RT139 with
a Sachs engine is a Hercules (at that time owned by Sachs), sold
in The Netherlands under the DKW
brand.
