This 1956 DKW is an original from Ingolstad, ie: not the later Zweirad Union (DKW, Vicoria, Express) one.
The (Stokvis) Puchs with high handlebars are typical of Dutch Puchs. An MS, MV - or VS - ‘frogface’ - in Holland is not a Puch unless such high handlebars are fitted.
The ruins are the ‘Brederode’ fortress. This has been in ruins for hundreds of years (destroyed by the Spaniards in 1573).
Sparta/Sachs 4 speed.
This ‘DKW’ RT139 with a Sachs engine is a Hercules (at that time owned by Sachs), sold in The Netherlands under the DKW brand.
