The annual pole sitting in Kollum was held from Wednesday, August 15 until Saturday, August 18. The local moped club, Oldtimer Brommervrienden Kollum, organises its Paalzitrit in conjunction with the pole sittting. This year's ride was on Thursday August 16. The mpeds cgathered during the afternoon and the ride started at 19.00 from the bridge in the center of Kollum.
