Transport for a Zündapp and a Puch, but in what? There's a cooker but it's not a camper van - no windows. And why a ladder and an electric hoist?
The mystery solved.
Unloading the Zündapp from the lorry.
This was a longer than usual ride, which meant an early start. A cup of coffee is essential at this time in the mornrig, especially with more ladder climbing to be done...
...and the reason for the ladder climbing - setting up the Start/Finish banner outside the Skating Club. The Skating Club in Nieuwkoop is the starting point for several BC de Stofwolk rides.
Plenty of riders, machines - and a cat - gathered for the 09:00 start to the ride.
The first stop was in Leiderdorp, on Zijldijk beside the Olympia.
More bikes alongside the Olympia.
Half an hour or so later, and we're beside the sea side with some bikes parked on the right...
...and some on the left...
...while the rest arrive in the middle.
Examining a Zündapp KS50 while the rider of a 'proper' motorbike studiously ignores the mopeds.
Time for a cup of coffee in the Strandpaviljoen.

At around one o'clock, we're a bit further along the coast at Scheveningen.
While everyone looks out to sea, a cyclist slips into the group.
Another five minutes takes us to the dockside at Scheveningen.
Parked opposite the Hr Ms Mercuur - a floating museum.
Two 'proud owners' - one on a Zündapp and one on a Kreidler.
On the dockside at Scheveningen.

A pause along the route at half past four.

And, to finish our album, a Zündapp Water-Cooled.
